About the Role
The Statistics & Data Strategy Consultant will leverage statistical methodologies to analyze political trends, voter behavior, fundraising patterns, and strategic decision-making. This role will provide data-backed insights to support public figures in making high-impact decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Statistical Modeling & Analysis: Apply statistical techniques (e.g., regression analysis, Bayesian modeling, time-series forecasting) to interpret complex datasets.
Polling & Survey Analytics: Design, conduct, and analyze surveys to measure public sentiment and voter behavior.
Risk Assessment & Predictive Analytics: Use statistical methods to identify risks and forecast trends in political, economic, and organizational landscapes.
Data Interpretation & Visualization: Translate statistical findings into actionable insights using dashboards, reports, and presentations.
A/B Testing & Experimentation: Develop data-driven strategies by testing campaign messaging, policy proposals, and engagement tactics.
Cross-Industry Insights: Provide statistical consulting for clients in politics, non-profits, and corporate leadership.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's or Master’s in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Expertise in R, Python, SQL, and statistical tools (SPSS, Stata, SAS).
Statistical Knowledge: Strong grasp of inferential statistics, probability theory, and experimental design.
Polling & Research: Experience in survey methodology and public opinion research.
Visualization & Reporting: Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to present data effectively.
Experience: 2+ years in statistical consulting, data analysis, or research roles within politics, non-profits, or corporate strategy.
